Valerie Acosta aka bgirl Val Pal was born in El Paso,Texas, raised in San Diego, CA and currently resides in Long Beach, CA. She graduated from CSULB with a bachelors in Kinesiotherapy and minor in Psycology. She is a Pac Modern and CSLA alumni. She currently dances witth Undergroud Flow, Syrenz, Fast Break and Kujo’s Company Lux Aeterna. With background training , in ballet, tap, jazz, gymnastics and hip hop, her main passion is bgirling. Val Pal is currently touring with Street Beat, which is an LA based drumming and dance production which provides professional entertainment along with music education. She has also toured nationally with Cirque Imagination “Montage” with Lux Aeterna which is a unique dance company which fuses ballet and breaking. She battles nationwide and her breaking crew, Underground Flow, won the Hip Hop International World Battle in 2009. She also breaks on the LA Clippers breaking crew Fast Break. She continues to battle, perform, teach and inspire others to appreciate the art of dance .
